Sarah Schuler-Brown
Senior Education Specialist

As a member of the CPPS team for the last 7 years, Sarah has had the pleasure to provide coaching, school leadership development and curriculum writing for middle and high schools across Los Angeles county, with a focus on developing Linked Learning pathways and supporting LAUSD Pilot Schools. She also serves as program manager for our Summer Bridge Prep 4 Success Program.

Sarah’s interest in issues regarding post-secondary access and retention stem from her own experience as a first-generation college student and her extensive experience working with underserved and underrepresented populations within the high school and college settings, from transfer students, and student-athletes and those previously dismissed from the university.

Prior to her work at The Center for Powerful Public Schools, Sarah completed her master’s degree at Colombia University where she worked with New York City High Schools. She has also taught teacher education and principal leadership courses at Pepperdine University and UCLA and held a number of positions in local educational non-profit organizations.
